Seriously delicious food. Insanely good prices for how much you get. Friendly and fast service-- even during the lunch rush, the food doesn't take too long! (Maybe 10 minutes tops?)
Not a super fancy place; they have nothing to make up for with how great the food is. Very Hawaiian style. If you're from Hawaii and looking for your teriyaki fix, I extra highly recommend this place.
Get the chicken katsu and the pork/chicken teriyaki combo! -

Went here for take out because of the great reviews.
We got home to find out the portions were extremely small, about 1/3 of the size shown on the pictures. Clearly the pictures were outdated.
The food was basic, nothing to write home about. Not sure why they received good reviews. The staff was friendly and we were the only customers so there was hardly any wait time.
My search for good teriyaki continues. -

Although there appear to be about six locations of Mashita Teriyaki in Oregon, this one has the feel of a cute "mom n pop" restaurant. The owners of this location are a charming couple who seem to be very happy serving their customers. And their customers seem to be very happy also.
I visited Mashita Teriyaki today around 3pm to collect some take away food for dinner. Even though it was mid afternoon, the place was hopping. There were several tables with diners enjoying their food and the take away orders were non-stop.
As a strict vegetarian, my menu choices are sometimes very limited. I ordered the veg soba and the tofu plate. While I waited for my food, I saw the owners greeting and handling their customers at the counter. They were very friendly and kind to everyone.
The dining area has tables and booths. There are rooster knick-knacks everywhere along with some wall art. The dining area has a pleasant atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a let down. The veg soba was made up of thick, chewy noodles with lots of cabbage, a few tiny pieces of broccoli and bits of carrot. The tofu plate had the same veggies plus rice and squares of tofu. The most impressive thing about the food was its price, less than what you'd pay at most food carts.
Perhaps the meat dishes are the real attraction here and why this place is so popular. I'll never know. -

Place sucks! We went, had the bland food, overpaid for it and definitely won't go back. Makes Panda Express look gourmet.

Just visited Mashita yesterday. The pricing was great, food was good and service fast.
This place was very busy. I was hoping the service would have been friendlier but everything else was good. I got their special and the other person I was with got Yakasoba noodle. Both plates were large and delicious.
